In a little less than a week I get to go see my favorite band, The Cribs, play in Boston. For the past couple of months I’ve been gushing about how fantastic their new album, In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull is going to be. It just so happens that one of my favorite music websites, Daytrotter, live streamed The Cribs session on their website. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Easter Monday than sitting back and listening to a live recording session with The Cribs.
The whole experience was truly remarkable. How often do you get the chance to sit it on a live recording session with your favorite artist? Pretty much never. It was so cool to listen to the banter and the story telling in between songs. I love being privy to that kind of back and forth. Furthermore, it was an awesome opportunity to hear some new tracks off the upcoming album, In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull. I have to say, I can’t wait to hear “Anna” off the album. As Mitt Romney would say, it was “marvelous.”
