Good news! One of my favorite bands, The XX, is currently working on their second album! Their first album, xx, was released back in 2009. It blew my mind and heart away. I don’t think it left my car’s CD player for about a year. This album started small but quickly developed a cult following.
I love that album, which is why I am so excited to see that they are working on their second untitled album. The XX, are going to be posting pictures and tracks that are providing inspiration for this new album on their website. You can take a look at what’s currently influencing the band HERE.
It hard to pick some tracks for this post since most people have heard the album some many times. But in these situations its best to take a look at the bands B-sides. It just so happens that The XX have some really awesome B-sides. Check out “Hot Like Fire” and”Do You Mind?”
